Reported risk: Health Canada's auditing process has revealed that the recalled products pose aspiration hazards and subsequently do not meet the warning labelling and child-resistant closure requirements for consumer chemical products under Canadian law. Aspiration occurs when a chemical product is ingested and then is introduced into the lungs through coughing and/or vomiting. It can result in severe adverse health effects including: pulmonary injury, chemical pneumonia and death.
