Reported risk: This recall involves Qumeney Bicycle Light Sets, models: BL-01 and BL-02. The bicycle lights are encased in silicone material and available in six colors including: black, white, red, green, yellow and blue. They are sold in packs of six (one of each color) and 24 (four of each color), each light contains two button cell batteries. The bicycle lights have "QUMENEY" printed on the labels located at the top of the package. Hazards: The recalled bicycle lights violate the mandatory standard for consumer products with button cell and coin batteries because they contain button cell batteries that can be accessed easily by children, posing an ingestion hazard. Additionally, the bicycle lights do not have the warnings required under Reese's Law. When button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns, and death.
