Model PTKB-4420 has a black plastic handle with a black silicone insert in the handle and a black whistling-stopper lid. Both models have a ½" metal band around the glass kettle's neck. "Not for dishwasher" is printed in raised letters underneath the lid. Hazards: The bottom portion of glass vessel can break when heated and the contents can spill, posing laceration and burn hazards.
