Reported risk: The Paloma Rattle is a ring that is 2.5 inches in diameter. It consists of nine linked sterling-silver balls that contain small beads. Hazards: Seams on the rattle can open during use, releasing small round beads. The beads can pose an aspiration hazard to young children. The breakage also can create ragged edges on the ring, posing a laceration hazard.
