Reported risk: The recalled Royal Colonial Vinyl Deck Post Kit is intended for use with the Royal pre-built vinyl deck rail system. The 4-inch square post has a "lathe turned" design in the middle. A label with the words "Royal Outdoor Products" and "R008-45-136" is affixed to the bottom of each post. Each kit contains one post. The posts were made in Canada. Hazards: Cracks can develop near the base of the posts. This can allow the railing to collapse, potentially injuring people on the deck.
